Progressive house found a new calling in 2010, when young Alessandro Lindblad hit the scene. For Alesso, all of the music luck in the world aligned for him at once. In 2011, he gained momentum in the Progressive House scene with his original tracks, as well as a few remixes that caught the attention of such superstar producers as Kaskade, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, and Avicii.

His 2011 remix of Nadia Ali’s “Pressure” put him at the top of his game, as it was played non-stop to an international audience and was one of the most played songs of 2011.

2012 was also a banner year for Alesso. He produced the track “Calling” with Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia, “Every Chance We Get We Run” with David Guetta and Tegan and Sara, and “City of Dreams” with mega DJ Dirty South. The future is bright for this young Swede.
