Flosstradamus made a serious bid for “heaviest tune of 2012″ with “Underground Anthem” back in August, and today the trap giants tease us with a taste of the official video.
“Underground Anthem” sounds remarkably like expensive imported tires being shredded to pieces on hot pavement, so it’s no surprise that the clip features lots of slow-motion eye-candy drifting. You can practically smell the thick fog of gasoline fumes and burning rubber, which explains why the duo sport gas masks through most of the vid. If the Fast & Furious crew know what they’re doing, they’ll be asking Flosstradamus to soundtrack their next sequel. Trap music and illegal street racing: they go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Play On SoundcloudThe DJZ/10 is a collection of ten DJs that we think you should know about now. Some of them are already familiar to you, others you may have never heard of. The list is not based on (1) a secret computer algorithm, (2) social media popularity, or (3) payola. Every month or so we get together to decide if somebody from the broader A…Z directory is about to break out and should be included in the DJZ/10, or if somebody already on the list, for that matter, is “phoning it in” and deserved to be replaced by another DJ who is more worthy.
