Are you an Avicii fan who also happens to know his/her way around a synthesizer or drum machine? Maybe you don’t have the professional chops, but you’ve got a killer melody floating around in your head? Either way, the Swedish house producer has set out to create “the world’s largest music collaboration” by crowdsourcing all of the different elements of a song that he’ll release through his latest project, Avicii X You.
The project officially launches Jan 9th, so you’ve got all weekend to hammer out a submission for part 1, which will be the song’s melody. Head over to the official website to hear the chord progression that you’ll be working with. It may only be 4 chords at this point, but it’s already got that emotional pull that Avicii brings to the table. Now, whatchu got to contribute?
