Steve Aoki is back with a new EP of epic proportions, out yesterday via Dim Mak.
Aoki was one of the earlier DJs in the scene who helped bring EDM to a larger American audience in the late ’00s (does anyone else remember blog house?), and with It’s The End Of The World As We Know It, he aims to remind us what was so invigorating about his style the first time around.
Play On SoundcloudSteve recently suggested in an interview that he wasn’t much interested in putting together full-length albums, but thankfully he has no problem with EPs to tide us over between live sets. Steve’s lengthy world tour wraps up in Chicago on Saturday, Dec 15th, after which he’ll have a couple weeks to chill with his dog before taking off again for some New Year’s events.
